ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) Minnesota's Department of Employment and Economic Development will release details on the state's economic performance in July.
The agency makes distributes its monthly economic tally on Thursday. The state's jobless rate has continued to creep slowly downward in recent months.
The unemployment rate in June was 5.2 percent, down a tenth of a percent from the previous month. The state has added 54,100 jobs in the last year, for a growth rate of 2 percent.
As of last month, Minnesota had regained 95 percent of the jobs lost during the recession from a low point in May 2008.
