ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) A St. Cloud State survey shows an improving job market for 2013 college graduates.
The survey was conducted by SCSU's Career Services Center. The Minnesota College Job Outlook survey shows 50 percent of employers surveyed plan to increase their hiring this year. Last year, that figure was at 36.4 percent.
Less than three percent of employers surveyed plan to reduce hiring.
The percentage of employers offering internships is at an all-time high at 83 percent.
Employers say the three most important skills for graduates to possess are honesty and integrity, written and verbal communication and strong work ethic.
More than 100 employers who attended job fairs in 2012 participated in this year's survey.
