ST.CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) The St. Cloud School Board meets Thursday night, and has a coupleĀ  of personnel issues to address.

The board is expected to approve a three year contract for incoming Superintendent Willie Jett. The contract calls for a starting salary of $170,000, 14 paid holidays, 25 annual vacation days, a $500,000 life insurance policy and moving expenses of up to $6,500.

Jett is an assistant superintendent in the St. Paul School District. He will replace the retiring Bruce Watkins on July first.

The school board is also expected to accept the resignation of Nik Peterson. The special education teacher at North Junior High School resigned his coaching positions at Apollo High School recently after he was put on leave while a complaint against him is investigated. The nature of that complaint has not been disclosed.

Peterson coached basketball, baseball and football at Apollo. His resignation will be effective June 7th.
