RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) All sections of Interstate 90 that were shut down by a snowstorm in western South Dakota are now open.
Workers completed plowing on the final stretch between Sturgis and the Wyoming state line at midday Sunday. Motorists were advised that difficult driving conditions could persist.
State transportation officials say crews are working on opening secondary roads that were blocked by the storm that dumped up to 4 feet of snow in one area of the Black Hills.
Officials in Rapid City were asking motorists to stay off roads in town until plowing could be completed. Many residents were still getting stuck Sunday and that was impeding recovery efforts.
