BAUDETTE, Minn. (KNSI) A Baudette man has been sentenced to 90 days in jail, 30 days of electronic home monitoring and 120 hours of community service for illegal hunting of bear and deer.

The DNR says 33 year-old Keith Slick was sentenced this month in Lake of the Woods County Court on numerous charges, including lending or borrowing a bear license, and taking or possessing an over-limit of bear.

Slick will pay more than two-thousand dollars in fines and restitution, and loses his hunting privileges for three years.

A rifle and bow he used during the crimes will be sold at a state auction later this year.
