MAPLE GROVE, Minn. (AP) — An armed robber who targets businesses along Minnesota's Interstate 94 corridor apparently has struck again.
A Burger King in Maple Grove is the latest target. The restaurant was held up moments after it opened early Wednesday.
Police say a man with a handgun demanded money and then locked two workers in the cooler. The suspect walked out and left in a dark Dodge Durango, possibly a 2005 model.
The Star Tribune reports six holdups have occurred along I-94 between St. Cloud and the Twin Cities.
Two others involved Burger Kings in Clearwater and Monticello, and happened just hours apart on September 19th. The other crimes have occurred in Big Lake, St. Cloud and another in Monticello.
