GOLDEN, Colo. (KNSI) - The NCAA tournament run for the St. Cloud State men's basketball team ended Saturday night with a 76-64 loss to Metro State in the regional semi-finals.

Even without sophomore post Tim Bergstraser, out with a knee injury, the Huskies led Metro State by 5 at the half. But a hot shooting second half, combined with Metro's size inside, eventually wore the Huskies down.

Theo Rothstein led the Huskies with 15 points. No other Husky reached double figures in the season ending loss.

The first round win over Bemidji gave St. Cloud State another 20 win season, finishing the year 20-9 overall.
