FOLEY, Minn. (KNSI) Three duck hunters had to be rescued on Little Rock Lake in Benton County Monday.

Sheriff Brad Bennett says 41 year-old Frank Caruso of Minneapolis was hunting with two 15 year-old boys. His wife became concerned when she was not able to reach them by phone, and called authorties.

Benton County sheriff's deputies, the State Patrol, the Rice fire and police departments and Gold Cross Ambulance were sent to the lake and began their search.

Just before 4 pm, the Rice Fire Department located a submerged boat in the lake. A short time later, they found Caruso and the boys on the east shore of the lake. They had been heading back to a cabin when the front of their boat went under water and capsized.

All three occupants of the boat were wearing life jackets and were able to swim to shore and light a small fire to warm up.

They were checked out by Gold Cross Ambulance personnel but did not require hospitalization.
