ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Hundreds of mourners have said good-bye to a fallen St.
Paul police officer who lived his childhood dream to follow in his father's
footsteps.

A funeral was held Friday for 30-year-old Officer Josh Lynaugh at the Cathedral
of St. Paul. Lynaugh died of a heart attack last week after a police foot chase.

As a child, Lynaugh once wrote in a school essay, ``I want to be a cop like my
pop.'' His father is Tim Lynaugh, a retired St. Paul police sergeant.

Friend and fellow officer Lou Ferraro says Josh Lynaugh's father was his hero
and role model. Ferraro described his friend as kind and giving someone who
would buy dinner for people he had never met before.

Josh Lynaugh will be buried in Stillwater.
