ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) The Stearns County Sheriff's office is investigating a residential burglary at 33326 112th Avenue in St. Wendel Township.

A woman arrived home over the noon hour Monday to find a man in her home. She heard him yell out--possibly to another burglar--and then the suspect ran off.

The homeowner called 911 and deputies responded. A ground search was conducted with the assistance of officers from the Avon and St. Joseph police departments and State Patrol.

The State Patrol used a helicopter and airplane to search for the suspects and bloodhounds were also brought in.

The suspects were not located. Items were missing from the home--but authorities aren't saying what was taken.
