ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) The 39th annual Holly Ball held in St. Cloud last weekend raised more than $550,000 for the St. Cloud Hospital Hospice Fune through the CentraCare Health Foundation.
That brings to nearly $5 million the total amount raised for Hospice since the Holly Ball began.
More than 1,800 guests enjoyed this year's gala event.
Hospice provides comfort and dignity and respects human life from beginning to end for patients who have a six month or less life expectancy and are accepting of comfort care. St. Cloud Hospice cared for more than 400 patients and their families last year.
The 40th annual Holly Ball will be held December 6, 2014 at the River's Edge Convention Center.
