SAUK CENTRE, Minn. (KNSI) The Minnesota Department of Transportation says drivers can expect intermittent lane closures on possible delays on Highway 28 in northwestern Stearns County starting Monday.

A nine mile stretch of the highway is being resurfaced west of Sauk Centre between U.S. Highway 71 and the town of Westport.

The lane closures will occur from sunrise to sunset Mondays through Saturdays. Different segments of the highway will close each day, and flaggers will allow one-way, alternating traffic through the work zone.

The project is expected to be completed by June 7th.
