SAUK RAPIDS, Minn. (KNSI) A changing of the guard at tonight's Sauk Rapids City Council meeting.
Former councilman Brad Gunderson will be sworn in as mayor.
Steve Heinen and Nick Sauer will take the oath of office as new members of the council.
Also tonight, the council will appoint someone to assume the vacant council seat left behind when Gunderson was elected mayor.
Five candidates for that open spot were interviewed last week.
Tonight's council meeting begins at six o'clock at the Sauk Rapids Government Center at 250 Summit Avenue North.
