Gun Complaint Leads to Multiple Charges

ST. CLOUD, MN (KNSI) - A Montevideo man was arrested in St. Cloud early Sunday morning following a gun complaint.

Police were called to the south parking lot at the Kelly Inn at 100 Fourth Avenue South just before 3 am. Twenty two year-old Deven Current was taken to the Stearns County Jail. He could face charges that include being a felon in possession of a firearm, terroristic threats, second-degree assault, fifth-degree controlled substance possession and child endangerment.

Officers found more than two grams of methamphetamine, a loaded .40-caliber handgun and more than 10-thousand dollars cash in Current's vehicle.
