ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) A groundbreaking is being held Tuesday afternoon at the site where a new permanent performance stage is being built at Lake George.

The groundbreaking is at 1:45 pm.

The Rotary Club of St. Cloud and the city are splitting the cost of the $260,000 project.

The permanent stage will be built at the same location where a temporary shelter has been set up for the "Summertime By George" event that's held each Wednesday during the summer months.
