Granite City Days celebration continues with concert, parade, triathlon

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - Part of a weekend of big area festivals and community celebrations continues Friday with St. Cloud’s annual Granite City Days.
Friday's events are highlighted by the free Liberty Savings Block Party concert in Whitney Park, featuring the classic rock duo America.

On Saturday, the day begins with the Granite City Days Parade starting at 10 a.m. The parade begins along Northway Drive, before turning on to 13th Street North and 31st Avenue North.
Sunday, the Graniteman Triathlon will be held at Lake George as particpants take part in a 1/3 mile swim, followed by a 15-mile bike ride and finishes with a spectator friendly 5K run.
