Grab and Dash Theft in Waite Park

WATIE PARK, MN (KNSI) - Waite Park police are looking for a couple who stole a cash box from a weekend rummage sale.

It happened Sunday in the two-thousand block of 1st Street North. A man and woman arrived at the sale to pick up some furniture they had agreed to purchase. The woman then grabbed the cash box and ran to the getaway vehicle the man was driving.

Police say the woman is described as a white female, about 20 to 30 years old. She was wearing a pink shirt and jeans. The man is a white male with short hair. He was wearing jeans and a dark shirt. They drove off in a small gray or silver car--possibly a Ford Focus.
