ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - This year's annual governor's deer-hunting opener will be in Winona.
Governor Mark Dayton will host a range of activities starting Nov. 2 to highlight the money that deer-hunting moves through the state economy. The firearms season opens Saturday, Nov. 3.
The tradition of the governor's deer opener was begun by former Governor Tim Pawlenty. This year's is the 10th annual.
