BURLINGTON, Vt. (KNSI) Freshman goalie Adam Wilcox made 26 saves to help Minnesota beat Vermont 3-1 Saturday for a sweep of their men's college hockey series.

Minnesota scored twice in a span of 1:10 in the second period, getting goals from Tom Serratore and A.J. Michaelson to go up 2-0 at 3:59 of the period.

Vermont got within a score on Jacob Fallon's goal early in the third. But Nate Condon tossed in an empty-netter to seal it with 54 seconds left.
