ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) The State Patrol has released the name of the person killed in a single vehicle accident in Benton County Monday night.

Patrol Lieutenant Eric Roeske says thirteen year-old Ellie Sovada of St. Cloud was killed when the Chevy Suburban she was riding in left Highway 10 in Watab Township and slammed into a tree. Sovada was a back-seat passenger.

The vehicle was driven by 59 year-old Philip Boyle of St. Cloud. He was seriously injured. Another passenger--Boyle's 12 year-old daughter Sofia Boyle of St. Cloud--also has serious injuries. Both were taken to St. Cloud Hospital. 

The crash happened just before 7:30 Monday night. All of the occupants were wearing seat belts.
