ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) The St. Cloud Rox have announced that former Minnesota Twins player Gene Larkin will throw out the ceremonial first pitch and sign autographs at the Rox home opener May 30th at Joe Faber Field.

Larkin played in parts of seven seasons for the Minnesota Twins from 1987 to 1993, and is best remembered for his extra innings pinch hit in game seven of the 1991 Wolrd Series that scored Dan Gladden with the game winning run.

The Rox home opener against the Willmar Stingers is scheduled for 7:05 pm with a postgame fireworks show sponsored by Coborn's.
