ST. CLOUD (KNSI) - The Freeze-A-Thon fundraiser at St. Cloud State University is in its final day, and they're still a bit short of their 2014 goal.

All week, members of the University's Phi Kappa Tau fraternity and Delta Zeta sorority have posted up along Atwood Mall for the annual event, raising money for children with serious medical issues via an organization called SeriousFun.

Event organizer and Philanthropy chairman of Phi Kappa Tau Scott Moehlmann says they've raised around $2,300 of their $3,000 goal so far. They'll continue to fundraise through 5pm today.

If you'd like to contribute, visit the fundraisers along Atwood mall at SCSU, or donate to the cause electronically by visiting getfrozen.org.

All proceeds benefit the SeriousFun Children's Network, which supports camps and programs around the world for children batting life-threatening conditions.

The 100 hour-long event at SCSU is now in it's 13th year.
