ST. CLOUD (KNSI) - The names of four more clergy have been added to the list of credibly accused priests from the St. Cloud Diocese.

Bishop Donald Kettler shared the new names on Friday morning in an e-mail.

Kettler says the four men have all been determined to have been likely abusers.

Their names have been added to the list since January 3rd - the date of the original offender list publication - and their identities were determined by information from religious communities and other published lists of priests accused of sexual abuse.

The four include Neil Emon of St. Peter Parish in St. Cloud, Gerald Funcheon, not an ordained priest, but a teacher and spiritual director at St. Cloud Cathedral High School, James Moeglein of the Cathedral of St. Mary in St. Cloud, and Justin Weger of St. Therese Parish in Vineland. Weger has since passed away.

No information was provided on the dates the alleged abuse occured, or how many victims each of the men purportedly had.

"I want to assure the public that there was nothing in the records maintained by my predecessor bishops or me which contained any alleged abuse by these clergy while serving in ministry in our diocese," Kettler stressed.

Kettler says he hopes the release of the names will provide some comfort to survivors, and he encourages anyone who has been abused by a priest or other religious figure to reach out to the Diocese.
