SARTELL, Minn. (KNSI) - The president of the United Steelworkers Local 274 and some former workers at the Verso paper mill in Sartell are holding a 4 pm news conference today--and it will have strong political overtones.

A recent television ad claims Bachmannn failed to reach out to Verso workers after it was learned the fire-damaged mill would close its doors for good.  Now--according to the release--Bachmann claims the workers are lying, so Steelworkers Local 274 President Lyle Fleck will quote--"set the record straight."

Bachmann is running for another term in the Sixth District against Democrat Jim Graves.
