ST. CLOUD, MN (KNSI) - A Flood Warning for the Mississippi River through St. Cloud is now officially cancelled.
Just Monday, the National Weather Service revised their alert for the river, warning minor flooding could still happen today when the river was projected to eke over the 9-foot flood stage.
But on Tuesday, projections once again revised down the estimates for the river's crest, they now say after moving just over 9 feet Monday morning, the river level has been falling back.
It was at 8.8 feet just after 11 a-m Tuesday morning. The river is expected to continue running near flood stage however through the rest of the week.
