Five East Village Mall businesses burglarized

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - Investigators were looking for suspects behind five business burglaries in St. Cloud's East Village Mall Thursday, a St. Cloud police spokesman said.

Officers arrived at the mall on the 1300 block of 15th Avenue Southeast just after 10 a.m. Thursday to find thieves had gained access to five of the mall's businesses.

Police determined the suspect or suspects broke through a sheetrock wall and pried open rear doors of those businesses to get inside. Cash and other items were stolen from each of those locations.

The thefts were under investigation and officers had no suspects in custody.
