Fire destroys mobile home

AVON, Minn. (KNSI) A mobile home near Avon was destroyed by fire Sunday.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says the fire at the Dale Osfalg home in Avon Township was reported just before noon.

Osfalg and his son got out of the trailer safely. There were no injuries.

The fire appears to have started near a space heater in the front bedroom of the home.

Fire departments from Avon and Albany fought the fire.
