ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) Damage is estimated at $70,000 following a house fire in St. Cloud.

The fire occured over the noon hour Monday at 1721 Ninth Avenue South.

It apparently started as the result of a child playing with a lighter.

Fire Department Battalion Chief Leon Faust says four people in the home were treated for smoke inhalation and one was also treated for minor burns.

The Red Cross was assisting the five children and three adults who lived at the home.

Fire crews were on the scene for about 2 1/2 hours.
