ST. AUGUSTA, Minn. (KNSI) Orders for Big Macs and fries had to be put on hold Monday afternoon when a fire broke out at the McStop McDonald's restaurant at the St. Augusta exit to Interstate 94.

The fire broke out around 3 pm, and was underneath a fryer.

St. Cloud Fire Department Battalion Chief Jerry Raymond says crews put out the fire in quick order, and remained on the scene for about an hour checking to make sure the fire did not make its way into the duct work of the building.

Damage was estimated at around $10,000.
