Fire at Former Rail Yard

WAITE PARK, MN (KNSI) - Fire departments from Waite Park, Sartell and Sauk Rapids were called out to a fire in Waite Park just after six o'clock last night.

A dust-collector structure at the site of the former BNSF Railway yard at Third Street North and Third Avenue was on fire. Waite Park Fire Chief Gary Curtis says the fire is "suspicious", and is under investigation.

 He says a brick wall of a storage building that was connected to the structure on fire kept the flames from spreading even further.
