ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) The St. Cloud City Council has voted to create a Convention Center Advisory Committee to oversee financial management of the River's Edge Convention Center.
The committee will be made up of seven members appointed by Mayor Dave Kleis.
The committee will make recommendations on the center's annual budget, review financial reports and profit and loss statements, and review marketing plans.
A year ago, the convention center expanded its lobby, and added more square footage that creates more trade show space.
The city council also chose Jeff Goerger as council president. It's the second time he's held that position.
