ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - Instead of Friday Night Lights, it was Friday Night Fights at South Junior High School Friday night.

St. Cloud Police were dispatched to South Junior high school Friday night to investigate an assault. According to police reports, an investigation revealed that a 19 year old St. Cloud resident had been assaulted following the football game, by two teenagers, 16 and 17 years old.

The victim received ten stitches at the hospital for a cut on his lip. Police then arrested the 16 year old suspect for 5th degree assault and the 17 year old suspect for 3rd degree assault.

Both suspects were released to their parents, while the victim was treated and released from St. Cloud Hospital.
