FOLEY, Minn. (KNSI) Criminal vehicular homicide charges have now been filed against a Sauk Rapids man involved in a deadly car crash in Benton County.
Thirty eight year-old Jose Fabian was behind the wheel of a vehicle that crashed in Minden Township Friday night.
A passenger--42 year-old David Eberle of St. Cloud--died in the crash.
Fabian admitted drinking prior to the accident, and a court complaint says he had slurred speech when interviewed by investigators.
Fabian's unconditional bail was set at $100,000 during a court appearance Monday--or $20,000 with conditions.
Fabian has a previous drunken driving conviction on his record--from 2006.
