Elk River man facing sex charges

ELK RIVER, Minn. (KNSI) An Elk River man has been arrested and faces several charges following an investigation by the Sherburne County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff Joel Brott says 29 year-old Wayne Leistico was arrested Tuesday for first-degree criminal sexual conduct, the use of minors in a sexual performance and possession of pornographic work involving minors.

Brott says the arrest followed a report of a sexual assault complaint in which a juvenile pre-teenage girl had been sexually assaulted on more than one occasion.

He was booked into the Sherburne County Jail, pending his arraignment.
