MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (KNSI) Minnesota voters will cast their votes under mostly cloudy skies on Election Day Tuesday.

The National Weather Service says there is a chance of rain and snow in northeast Minnesota and a chance of rain in the southeast.

Highs statewide will range from the upper 30s to upper 40s.

The forecast calls for colder weather by Tuesday night, with a chance of snow in the northeast. Lows will dip into the mid 20s to low 30s.

Polls close across Minnesota at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
