DULUTH, Minn. (AP) - The Minnesota Department of Health is investigating an outbreak of a food-borne illness at a ballroom in Duluth.
The health department says at least 40 people have gotten sick after eating at the Greysolon Ballroom last weekend. Health department spokesman Doug Schultz said Friday the investigation is ongoing and there could be additional cases.
The Duluth News Tribune says about 350 attended a wedding and a private party at the Greysolon Saturday.
The outbreak was first reported to the health department on Tuesday. The food was served by Greysolon Ballroom By Blackwoods.
The parent company is New London Corp. Controller Sean Stepan deferred questions to the health department.
