ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) St. Cloud police have released more details on a Tuesday afternoon shooting that left a man injured.

Public Information Officer Jason Burke says officers were called to a report of gunshots in the 1300 block of 12th Avenue North just after 5 pm.  A 21 year-old St. Cloud man sustained a gunshot wound to a leg. His name has not been released. The Criminal Investigation Unit is actively working the case, and Burke says this appears to be an isolated incident, with no danger to the general public.

The Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force is leading the investigation into a second report of gunshots in St. Cloud. That happened just after 7:30 last (Tuesday) night in the 200 block of 33rd Avenue South. It is not related to the earlier shooting.
