SARTELL, Minn. (KNSI) The Minnesota Department of Transportation says drivers may encounter slow traffic and delays on Highway 15 in Sartell beginning today as lane and shoulder closures occur between County Roads 1 and 120.
The closures will occur during non-rush hours as crews install temporary traffic lights at the Highway 15--23rd Street intersection.
The traffic lights will provide safe access from Highway 15 to 23rd Street, westbound County Road 120, the Sartell Medical Park and other local businesses when ramps temporarily close later this year between Highway 15 and County Road 120.
The work and lane closures are expected to be finished by mid-April.
The work is needed as part of the diverging diamond interchange project at Highway 15 and Stearns County Road 120.
