Deer hunting accident near Paynesville

PAYNESVILLE, Minn. (KNSI) A teenage boy was injured over the weekend in a hunting accident in Stearns County.
The sheriff's office says the 14 year-old boy from Eagan was in a deer stand on Copperfield Road near Paynesville when his shotgun discharged, and he was struck in the foot.
The boy was taken to the Paynesville hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
The accident was reported just before 5:30 Saturday afternoon.
