COLD SPRING, Minn. (KNSI) Family members of Tom Decker along with members of the Cold Spring-Richmond Police Department will travel to Washington D.C. this spring for a ceremony that will add Decker's name to the National Peace Officers Memorial.
It happens the week of May 12th as part of National Police Week.
Activities include a candlelight vigil at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, and tours of the White House.
Decker was shot behind a Cold Spring bar while responding to a call on November 29th. Nobody has been charged in the case, and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension continues to investigate.
