ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) Now that St. Cloud voters have approved an $18-million bond issue for street repairs, Mayor Dave Kleis says the city will move quickly to select which projects to do.

The Transportation Infrastructure Advisory Board will be meeting in the coming weeks to begin planning neighborhood meetings and prioritizing projects.

The actual construction work will begin next year--and continue through 2016.

Property taxes for St. Cloud homeowners will go up beginning in 2014 to pay for the work. Taxes on a $130,000 home will go up about $23 a year for ten years. Commercial property valued at $200,000 will see a tax increase of $67 a year.
