Decade Since Disappearance Of Kandiyohi County Teen

NEW LONDON, MN (AP) - Today marks the ten year anniversary of the disappearance of a teenager in Kandiyohi County.

Daniel Newville was 18 years old when he was last seen leaving a residence in the New London area on August 1st, 2002. Sheriff Dan Hartog says he believes that someone in the area still has information in the case that would be helpful to investigators.

More than 100 leads have been followed up on, and more information is needed to wrap up the case. Newville was five-feet eight inches tall, weighed 140 pounds, and had brown hair and blue eyes.
