MOORHEAD, MN (AP) - Authorities have ruled accidental the death of a North Dakota man whose body was found along railroad tracks in western Minnesota in March.

The Clay County sheriff's office wrapped up its investigation into the death of 27-year-old Jared Nilles of Fargo last week.

Nilles was traveling from Fargo to Chicago aboard Amtrak's Empire Builder passenger train. His body was found March 19 along the tracks between Glyndon and Hawley.

Chief Deputy Matt Siiro tells The Forum (http://bit.ly/SiYbrf) that investigators found no evidence of foul play.

Investigators found no one who witnessed Nilles' getting off the moving train. Authorities believe he opened a door and fell out.

A passenger told authorities that Nilles had been drinking in the lounge area. An autopsy indicates Nilles' approximate blood-alcohol concentration was 0.37 percent.
