Day of Heat, Wind, Fire Danger Expected in Central MN

 ST. CLOUD, MN (KNSI) - One more day of September heat before a cold front moves through. High temperatures in the St. Cloud area are expected to approach 90 today--well above the normal high of 72.

It will be windy again today too--with south winds gusting as high as 25 miles an hour. A Red Flag Warning is posted for most of Minnesota through tonight--meaning the fire danger is high.

A big change is in store for tomorrow--when high temperatures will reach only the low 70's. Highs might reach only the upper 60's later in the week.
