SAUK RAPIDS, MN (KNSI) - A trial date has been scheduled for a woman accused of killing her ex-husband in his Sauk Rapids apartment in November of last year.
Thirty nine year-old Angelina O'Mara will go on trial November 5th for the killing of James O'Mara. He was found dead with a gunshot wound to his head.
Angelina O'Mara was in Benton County District Court Wednesday for a pre-trial hearing. She's charged with one count each of first and second-degree murder. Authorities arrested her in Sioux Falls, South Dakota days after the killing.
O'Mara is also suspected of killing her boyfriend--Michael Pies--whose body was found in a motel room in Ashland, Wisconsin. He too died of a gunshot wound to the head.
