ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) The National Weather Service says dangerously hot conditions will continue in central Minnesota through Tuesday.

Daytime maximum heat index values soar to between 100 and 110 degrees. Nighttiime temperatures will not cool to below the mid 70s to low 80s.

A weak cool front will push across the area late Tuesday, and bright slight relief to the opressively hot conditions for Wednesday.

The hot and humid conditions will lead to a heightened risk of heat related stress and illnesss, especially for the young and the elderly.

The Heat Advisory includes the St. Cloud area though midnight Tuesday night.
