MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The threat of cyber-attacks and how to guard against them are the topic of a Minneapolis summit.
The third annual Cyber Security Summit convenes Tuesday at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The Technological Leadership Institute at the Minnesota College of Science and Engineering is one of its chief sponsors.
Information networks have become increasingly central to the operations of the U.S. economy, communications and travel, delivery of utilities and government services. At the same time, cyber-attacks have increased dramatically in the past decade. The summit will feature experts from government, academia and private business discussing both threats and possible solutions.
