ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) A Waite Park man was killed early Thursday when he was involved in a three-vehicle crash in Benton County.

It happened on U.S. Highway 10 and County Road 33 just after midnight. The State Patrol says 35 year-old Ahmed Abdulle failed to yield at a stop sign and struck a northbound car driven by 55 year-old Hope Morrison of Rice.

Abdulle's vehicle came to rest in the northbound lanes of traffic and was struck by a third vehicle driven by 20 year-old Eric Shelley of Onamia.

Abdulle was killed in the crash. A passenger in his vehicle--33 year-old Hussein Sabriye of Waite Park--was not injured.

Both Morrison and Shelley were taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
