ST. CLOUD, MN (KNSI) - St. Cloud police are investigating a pair of cases involving counterfeit money.

Officers were called to the 11-hundred block of 13th Avenue North last week in reference to a counterfeit complaint. They determined a bogus 20-dollar bill was used to make a purchase at a garage sale.

The suspect is a white female, around 40-years-old, with blond hair, five-feet seven inches tall, and 160 pounds.

St. Cloud police were also called to another complaint where a woman matching that description tried to pass a counterfeit 20-dollar bill at a garage sale in the 11-hundred block of Ninth Avenue South. And on Friday police responded to the 800-block of West St. Germain where a counterfeit 20-dollar bill was used at a bar in the downtown area.

Police have no suspects in that case at this time.
