ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers says it is closing its regulatory offices in Minnesota and Wisconsin because of the federal government shutdown.

The Corps' St. Paul District cited the lack of available federal funding in announcing the closing Tuesday.

The Corps says regulatory offices in Minnesota and Wisconsin won't be able to review or issue permits for wetlands development until after federal funding is received and the offices reopen.
